NewVHS is a YouTube channel created by Jon Carmelia, Kevin Wright and Spencer Starnes in 2011. Each episode represents an out of context clip from fictional forgotten media from the 1990s. NewVHS has been screened in over a dozen film festivals including The Ithaca Fantastic Fest, The Philadelphia Film Festival, Buffalo International, Silver Lake Shorts, and the Toyama Film Festival in Japan.

In 2019, NewVHS self-published it’s first physical release: “Episode 1: Everybody Dies” on multi-colored VHS tapes. It is exclusively available for rent at Video Vortex in Releigh, NC.
